Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team in Ottumwa Iowa. This is an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns in a supportive and patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care for laboring and postpartum patients
Monitor maternal and fetal health including vital signs and fetal heart rates
Assist with deliveries and support families throughout the childbirth process
Educate patients and families on labor delivery and postpartum care
Collaborate effectively with physicians nurse practitioners and other healthcare team members
Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
Current Iowa Registered Nurse License or compact state nursing license that allows practice in Iowa
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
