Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse provides skilled nursing care case management and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age frailty and serious illness. This role involves patient assessments medication administration treatment planning and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. Effective communication and collaboration with patients providers and team members are essential.

Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care in Labor & Delivery/Post Partum/OB Triage/Antepartum/Normal Newborn settings.
- Perform vaginal and Cesarean deliveries.
- Circulate in the Operating Room.
- Start adult IVs and administer blood/blood products.
- Manage drains epidural pumps and PCA pumps.
- Administer medications including insulin and magnesium sulfate.
- Float as needed within the unit.
- Monitor fetal heart rate.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- BCLS certification.
- NRP certification.
- AWHONN Intermediate certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in LDRP L&D PP and Newborn care.
- Skills in circulating fetal heart monitoring (FHM) and IV starts.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field.
Special Considerations:
- Must have been separated from any Providence-affiliated facility for at least 3 months to qualify for a travel position.
- All Swedish facilities honor active compact licenses.
