Job Summary

Work Setup: Hybrid (3x / week onsite) Makati

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (8am-5pm)

Responsibilities:

1. Leadership & Team Management:

Lead mentor and develop a team of system network and help desk engineers.
Foster a culture of proactive monitoring continuous improvement and exceptional customer team workload prioritize tasks and conduct performance reviews.

2. Infrastructure Strategy & Management:

Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for MHSI IT infrastructure including on-premises cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and hybrid environments.
Oversee the design implementation and maintenance of all server network storage and data center and optimize cloud infrastructure and services for cost-efficiency and performance.

3. Operations & Service Delivery:

Ensure the high availability and reliability of all critical business systems and network services.
Oversee the IT Service Desk function ensuring timely resolution of incidents and requests based on SLAs. Manage IT operations based on ITIL frameworks including Incident Problem Change and Asset Management.

4. Security & Compliance:

Partner with the CISO/Cybersecurity team to implement and maintain robust security controls including firewalls patch management and access controls. Ensure infrastructure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g. SOX HIPAA GDPR).
Own and test the Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans for all critical infrastructure.

5. Budget & Vendor Management:

Develop and manage the infrastructure and operations budget including forecasting and cost-control.
Evaluate select and manage relationships with technology vendors managed service providers and contractors.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent experience.
7 years of experience in IT infrastructure with at least 3 years in a managerial or team lead role.
Proven hands-on experience with:
Windows/Linux Server environments and Active Directory/Azure AD.
Networking concepts (TCP/IP VLANs VPN SD-WAN) and hardware (Cisco Meraki Palo Alto).
Virtualization technologies (VMware Hyper-V).
Cloud platforms (AWS Azure or Google Cloud).
Storage Area Networks (SAN) and backup/recovery solutions.

Preferred:

Relevant professional certifications (e.g. ITIL PMP AWS/Azure Solutions Architect CCNA VCP).
Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell Python Terraform).
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Excellent project management budgeting and vendor negotiation skills.
