Sr. Manager (Project Management)

In this role you are expected to:

• Provide strategic leadership to ensure the team has the tools processes and resources required for successful execution across all phases of project management and commercialization.
• Set clear priorities and enable timely decisions aligned with Visas overall strategy.
• Influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to resolve business challenges and drive organizational objectives.
• Build and sustain an inclusive high-performing team culture through coaching mentoring and continuous development fostering career growth.
• Deliver operational efficiencies through consistency in processes tool adoption and knowledge-sharing to achieve efficiency and deliver superior outcomes.
• Champion emerging technologies (e.g. GenAI) to enhance team capability and client delivery.
• Lead strategic initiatives on behalf of Implementation Services team and guide the team through readiness for new market opportunities and global priorities.
• Empower team members to take ownership collaborate effectively and deliver results.
• Build a strong and cohesive team by providing leadership to direct reports through coaching setting strategic direction and applying working knowledge of Visa products systems and procedures. Instill an inclusive team culture and provide continuous coaching and training to the team.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications :

We are looking for an individual who brings breadth of experience a curiosity about payments is results-driven and client focused. As a candidate you should have:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or equivalent work experience in a project management or role in software or financial services. An Advance degree (i.e. Masters / MBA / PhD) is preferred
Minimum of 35 years of experience in client-facing roles with demonstrated success in leading projects or small teams.
Exposure to the Payments industry or related sectors is preferred along with a strong willingness to learn and grow into broader leadership responsibilities.
Functional experience in project management supporting highly complex clients and/or services.
Solid working knowledge of Visas payment systems including authorization & clearing systems client connectivity and settlement services
In-depth knowledge of Client business drivers for their operations and processing businesses
Proven abilities in negotiating with and influencing clients and staff at all levels as well as the ability to successfully manage competing priorities while serving as a positive influence across the organization.
Ability to influence and negotiate to drive results using analytics to measure performance against key initiatives
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders at senior and executive management levels
