ActewAGL has an exciting opportunity for an individual to lead a team of procurement professionals as our Manager of Procurement for Evoenergy.

The Opportunity

ActewAGL has an exciting opportunity for an individual to lead a team of procurement professionals as our Manager Procurement. You will provide effective efficient and high-quality procurement and contract management services to Evoenergy.

The Team

The Procurement Group consists of a team of diverse Procurement professionals that enjoys building and nurturing relationships. The team helps the business achieve great commercial outcomes. Your day in the role:

Identify develop and implement Evoenergys procurement plan
Undertake all aspects of end-to-end procurement including engagement with the business to understand their needs and develop appropriate sourcing strategies.
Promote the adherence to our procurement and contract management framework
Mentor and support your procurement team
Build and maintain strong partnerships with key strategic suppliers
Offer quality advice support and guidance on procurement and contract management to Evoenergy stakeholders.
Keep abreast of market developments and supply chain challenges developing strategies to avoid impact to the business.

About you:

You have tertiary or relevant qualification/s in engineering business or procurement
You have proven experience in contract management as well as the management of strategic partnerships
You have demonstrated experience in building and improving supplier relationships
You have a strong ability to lead and support teams
You have excellent collaboration and negotiation skills with internal/external partners
