This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in building a career in the engineering consulting industry and taking on increasing responsibilities over time.
As a Business Coordinator you will provide administrative and professional support to clients partners project managers and internal staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support company communications both internal and external with professional and clear content.
- Prepare proposals organize personnel CVs project profiles and technical narratives to meet project specifications.
- Manage reception duties: answer calls greet visitors and handle courier arrangements.
- Process correspondence including memos specifications letters and reports.
- Maintain and develop project profiles for ongoing and completed projects.
- Provide administrative support to all departments and office operations.
- Back up other administrative staff including the Executive Administrator during absences.
- Develop clear and technically accurate proposal content (written and visual).
- Support social media and local marketing efforts to promote MCW in the region.
- Ensure compliance with RFQ/RFP requirements Requests for Information and proposals.
- Maintain organized electronic filing systems for business and operational documentation.
- Assist Subject Matter Experts with material development editing and formatting final documents.
- Build and maintain a corporate library of proposal content and RFP responses.
- Research and review new project opportunities.
- Plan and coordinate company-wide events (e.g. Christmas Party Golf Day Partner Meetings) in collaboration with other offices.
- Collaborate with other Atlantic Province offices to maintain a social media presence aligned with our national strategy.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with MS Project or other document management systems.
- 35 years in an administrative or support role ideally in engineering legal insurance or professional services.
- Experience supporting teams of 8 or more.
- Strong organizational communication and technical skills.
