The Opportunity

Stanley College is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Field Placement Coordinator to join our Higher Education team in Adelaide. This role plays a vital part in facilitating quality fieldwork experiences for students enrolled in the Bachelor of Community Services program ensuring placements are aligned with academic and industry standards.

You will act as the key link between students placement organisations and academic teams supporting students from preparation to completion of their fieldwork while maintaining compliance with Community Work Australia (CWA) standards and enhancing relationships with industry partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain partnerships with community service organisations to secure a diverse range of placement opportunities.
  • Coordinate all aspects of field placements including student interviews agreements and documentation.
  • Liaise with students and placement agencies to ensure smooth placement processes and timely resolution of issues.
  • Monitor placement quality and compliance with CWA standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Provide guidance and administrative support to students throughout the placement process.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of placement policies procedures and documentation.
  • Prepare reports meeting agendas and maintain accurate placement records and correspondence.
  • Participate in departmental initiatives contributing to the enhancement of student and employer engagement.

About You

  • Bachelors degree in Welfare Community Work or related discipline.
  • Eligibility for full membership with Community Work Australia (CWA).
  • Minimum two years full-time post-qualifying experience (or equivalent part-time).
  • Strong communication organisation and relationship management skills.
  • Sound understanding of CWA Education and Accreditation Standards.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to quality compliance and continuous improvement.
