JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under the direction of the MCN Admission Coordinator MCN Nurse Manager and Programmer Team Leader Activities Programmer will plan and implement group and individual activities and programs to assist the dementia residents on assigned unit. Supervise activities in accordance with Vermont State Code.
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or Associates Degree (preferred).
EXPERIENCE:
Experience in Long Term Care and Dementia Preferred. Organization skills ability to help plan and implement activitiesbased dementia care. Ability to identify residents needs and provide therapeutic activities to fulfill those needs. Good documentation skills and knowledge of computer programs. Heimlich certification required. CPR Certification preferred.
