Part-Time Butcher Assistant

Were a locally owned butcher shop dedicated to providing high-quality meats and excellent customer service. Were looking for a reliable and hardworking team member to join our back-of-house crew. This is a rare opportunity to gain hands-on experience under the guidance of our head butcher a chef trained by James Beardhonored mentors and seasoned in Michelin-starred kitchens. Youll build real-world skills in a professional food environment while learning techniques that you can carry with you both in and out of the kitchen.

Responsibilities:

Assist with meat preparation trimming and packaging.
Keep work areas tools and equipment clean and sanitized.
Receive and properly store deliveries.
Follow all food safety and workplace safety procedures.
Support team members and help ensure smooth daily operations.

What Were Looking For:

Prior kitchen or food service experience preferred but not required.
Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
Comfortable working with raw meat and sharp tools.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Dependable team-oriented and punctual.

Schedule & Pay:

Part-time position (weekend and weekday/evening availability).
Starting wage $17 per hour.
