Job Summary

Were looking for an experienced Education Lead to shape and deliver our Health Safety & Wellbeing (HSW) education framework. Reporting to the Head of HSW this role will lead the design development and delivery of engaging learning solutions that lift capability improve compliance and support best HSW practice within the organisation.

What youll do

  • Oversee development and delivery of the organisation-wide HSW education framework.
  • Conduct training needs analysis across key risks and policy requirements to develop training plans and materials.
  • Develop high-quality learning materials for diverse audiences from leaders to frontline staff using blended methods such as online video virtual reality and face-to-face delivery.
  • Partner with internal learning teams to ensure HSW education aligns with broader organisational learning priorities.
  • Integrate evaluation into all programmes to measure impact and continuously improve outcomes.
  • Coordinate the HSW training calendar to ensure both compliance and proactive learning opportunities.

This role is a 12 month fixed term contract and can be based from Auckland or Hamilton


Qualifications :

Youre a capable proactive and energetic learning professional with a genuine commitment to helping people learn grow and work safely. Youll bring:

  • Experience in learning development (in-person and online) and in designing LMS-based learning solutions
  • Strong knowledge of Health Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) processes and best practice (qualification in Occupational Health & Safety desirable).
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver engaging training programmes and educational materials
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Skilled at identifying learner needs managing change and meeting deadlines
