Assistant Manager Blue Bell Hotel
Were on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Blue Bell Hotel buzzing and loved by the locals.
The Blue Bell Hotel in Wendouree is situated on Howitt Street and within close proximity to Ballarat. Weve been serving locals for years and continue to offer something for everyone. Our Bistro offers all your pub favourites kids meals and regular specials to keep all our guests happy! Our Sports Bar offers a relaxed and friendly environment perfect for an after work drink catching up with friends or settling in to watch the game. Our Bar also features TAB Trackside & Sportsbet facilities as well as regular social and sporting events.
A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:
- Get to know the locals so well they think youre part of the crew
- Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly safely and with a great vibe
- Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
- Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
- Bring the energy the service and the smiles every single shift
Inherent requirements:
This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock kegs and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
About you:
- Youve been around the bar or gaming room block and maybe already done some supervising
- Youve learned from great managers and now youre ready to step up
- Youve got the confidence pride and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
- Youve got a current RSA and RSG/RCG as per state requirements
