Synergie is currently seeking Skilled Machine Operatorto join a leading waste management company based in St Marys NSW.

The Details:

• Location:St Marys NSW

• Position: Die Setter - Setting up machines

• Shift: Day Shift 7:24am - 3:30pm

• Pay Rate:Starting $38.30 up to $45.00 for candidates with the right experience

• Start Date: Immediate start

• Schedule: Ongoing Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and changeover moulds on blow moulding machines according to production requirements.

• Align and secure moulds ensuring proper fit and operation.

• Adjust machine settings (temperature pressure cycle time) for optimal performance.

• Perform start-up and shutdown procedures for moulding machines.

• Conduct routine inspections to ensure tooling is functioning correctly.

• Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues withdies moulds and machines.

• Work closely with the maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime.

• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.

• Maintain accurate documentation of setups changes and maintenance activities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as aDieSetterin a plastic blow moulding environment.

• Strong understanding of blow moulding machines and processes (e.g. extrusion blow moulding injection blow moulding).

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Familiarity with troubleshooting tools and techniques.

• Good mechanical aptitudeand attention to detail.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

• Willingness to work shifts overtime or weekends as needed.

• Must be physically fit pull/push/lift 20kgs

• Be comfortable working in a loud dusty and repetitive environment

• Be physically fit and able to perform demanding tasks

• Have a strong attention to detail and follow established processes

• Hold full working rights in Australia

• Have access to reliable transport

• Have a positive safety-first attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

Technical certification or trade qualification in a relevant field.

Experience with specific blow moulding machines

Basic knowledge of quality control standards and procedures.
