Starling Chevrolet has an outstanding opportunity for an Internal Service Advisor to join their team
Our Internal Service Advisor is responsible for preparing repair orders as it relates to the preowned departments reconditioning process. This person will also be responsible for managing the preowned teams workflow to include sublet vendors.
- Take incoming calls from New and Used car managers who wish to organize service maintenance and repairs to their inventory vehicles
- Organize and book service maintenance and repairs with the appropriate suppliers and vendors
- Ensure that recovery vehicles are organized promptly
- Schedule other ancillary services as required
- Keep New and Used Managers and other interested parties informed of progress
- Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
What are we looking for
- High School Diploma and one year of related sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic knowledge of an automobile can identify most features and parts of the body and engine
- Current valid drivers license
- Experience in a customer service-related role is essential
- Is prepared to go the extra mile in order to achieve excellent end results
- A proactive and dynamic attitude to problem solving
- Ability to multi task with consistency and accuracy
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and provide outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work retail hours
- Computer proficient
