We are looking for a Digital Project Manager with strong technical skills and Scrum Master experience ideally gained at a digital agency.

JOB PURPOSE

As the central figure in each collaboration we have with our clients you coach guide and motivate the (Scrum) team to perform at its best. Together with the Product Owner you align on client expectations and monitor progress. You identify commercial opportunities continuously improve processes and strengthen team collaboration. Good understanding of processes required to build a digital experience are a must.

We also expect you to contribute on a content and business level taking on elements of a Business Analyst role. With your technical background you can advise clients and evaluate implementations based on impact effort and value. A background as a developer is a major plus as is experience with SFCC projects and other CMS systems such as Umbraco and headless CMS platforms.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A Project Manager at DEPT is someone who keeps their head cool and elevates accounts to new heights. You never lose sight of whats important.

In this role you are the link between the development team the project organization and the client. You ask the right questions to uncover deeper needs and ensure clear acceptance criteria. Based on this you create sprint plans together with the client that contribute to their overall roadmap. You advise and steer in a way that serves both the clients goals and our internal processes. We inspire our clients to work in a data driven way you bring expertise in this mindset and evaluate every initiative through that lens.

Youll work closely with the Product Owners on the client side. Together you ensure that team capacity aligns with client needs and the shared roadmap youre realizing as a team. You understand the balance between delivering quickly and building long-term value. If that means adjusting the team composition or improving processes youll take the lead.

A bit about our team:
We work with clients after theyve completed their initial project phase for example once a platform has gone live. Within our team we focus on building long-term partnerships with our clients. We work in a setup we call Care & Grow in short we keep platforms stable and up to date while simultaneously driving growth and data driven development together with our clients.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Around 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager and/or Scrum Master in a digital agency or client-focused environment
  • Have experience with the Agile/SCRUM methodology and know when not to apply it
  • Understand how a digital ecosystem fits together;
  • Have experience delivering online applications on the agency side;
  • Have experience building and leading teams
  • Speak the language of designers developers and CRO specialists
  • Understand data driven working
  • Spot commercial opportunities with clients and make sure theyre followed up
  • Adapt quickly and bring a strong can do attitude to the team
  • Working proficiency in English
  • Working proficiency in Dutch is a plus
  • Background in development is a plus
