Job Summary
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics ( at the University of Massachusetts Amherst invites applications for Visiting Assistant Professor positions (non-tenure track). One or more appointments may be a Marshall H. Stone Visiting Assistant Professorship with a higher salary and an enhanced research fund. Candidates should have completed the Ph.D. by the beginning of the appointment. The initial appointment is for one (1) year and is ordinarily renewable for two (2) additional years. Exceptional promise in research and a commitment to outstanding teaching at all levels of the curriculum are expected.

Salary Information
It is expected that the salary range for this position is between $65550 and $74630.
