Job Summary
Vacancy: Exceptional Childrens Teacher for Homebound Students
Provides direct instruction to students who cannot attend school due to medical or other reasons implementing their Individualized Education Program (IEP) in a home setting.
Qualifications: Hold an Exceptional Childrens Teacher License
Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one instruction to a student in their home or designated location for a limited number of hours per week.
- Implement the students specific Individualized Education Plan (IEP including any necessary accommodations or modifications.
- Stay in regular contact with the students classroom teacher(s) parents and other school staff to ensure consistency and share information.
- Create and adapt lesson plans and activities to be suitable for the home environment which may include using technology games and hands-on materials.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of the students progress and instruction adhering to federal state and local policies.
Rate of Pay: $35.00 per hour.
