Were seeking someone to lead our regional Mortgage Loan Processing team in Wealth Management Operations with a focus on driving operational excellence fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring high-quality service delivery for our clients and partners.
The Director is responsible for overseeing and managing Loan Processing Operations regionally. This role requires operational leadership attention to detail and the ability to drive efficiency and quality within the assigned area. The Director will manage processes pipelines risks and projects specific to the region ensuring compliance and service excellence.
The Director will supervise a team of Loan Processors and Associates focusing on training development task allocation and supporting project contributions within the region.
In the Operations division we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is a Team Supervisor position at Director level within Core Services which is responsible for performing and managing product-agnostic and centralized operational services across several businesses and products.

Responsibilities
-Remediate Quality Control (QC) findings within the region
-Audit Loan Processor (LP) files and provide feedback
-Handle complex and rush files as needed
-Assign Order Services and Conditions Support Tasks within the team
-Balance pipelines and workloads for the region
-Collaborate with regional business partners
-Manage Order Outs Conditions Clearing procedural adherence
-Respond to team inquiries (in-person and via chat) with urgency
-Serve as an escalation contact point for LPs and other departments within the region
-Ensure proper out-of-office coverage for the team Qualifications
-Detailed knowledge of loan processing operations systems and compliance policies
-Understanding of underwriting and regulatory requirements
-Ability to identify risk and propose process improvements
-Experience with process improvement or technology development/testing
-Strong team coordination and coverage management skills
-Leads by example and demonstrates drive and determination
-Effective communicator and escalation point for the team
-Experience ensuring adequate coverage for business-as-usual commitments
-Ability to build relationships with business unit partners and infrastructure departments
Experience
-Minimum of 7 years of previous Loan Processing and/or Mortgage experience with active pipeline management
-Solid understanding of the mortgage loan process and available loan types (including Jumbo/Non-Conventional loans)
-Highly organized and able to solve problems independently
-Strong communication skills
-Must be flexible with work hours to support the assigned region
