Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Applications Engineer with strong experience in C# .NET development to join our engineering team. This role involves designing developing and maintaining both desktop (PC) and web-based applications while collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure seamless integration and secure delivery of software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain Windows desktop applications usingC# Framework/.NET Core.

• Build and supportweb applications using MVC/Web API Blazor or Razor Pages.

• Collaborate closely withproduct managersQA engineersUI/UX designers and other developers to define requirements design solutions and ensure successful delivery.

• Participate inAgile ceremonies including daily stand-ups sprint planning and retrospectives.

• Conduct and participate incode reviews ensuring code quality and knowledge sharing.

• Providetechnical support and guidance to external teams integrating with our systems including API usage SDKs and data exchange formats.

• Develop and maintainintegration documentation sample code and onboarding materials for external developers.

• Develop automated unit and integration tests

• Act as a liaison between internal development teams and external partners to resolve integration issues and ensure alignment on technical requirements.

• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

• Identify gaps in the development process and self-start activities to address these gaps

• Investigate and resolve issues on your own and then appropriately share your findings with the team

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field.

• 3 years of professional experience inC# .NET development.

• Strong understanding ofobject-oriented programming anddesign patterns.

• Experience withWindows FormsWPF orUWP for desktop development.

• Experience with CoreMVCWeb API orBlazor for web development.

• Familiarity withSQL Server or other relational databases.

• Proficiency withsource control systems (e.g. Git).

• Strongcommunication and interpersonal skills especially in cross-team collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supportingexternal developers or partners with API or SDK integration.

• Familiarity withRESTful APIsOAuth andauthentication/authorization mechanisms.

• Knowledge ofcybersecurity best practices especiallyPublic Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificate management and secure communication protocols.

• Experience withcloud platforms (e.g. Azure AWS).

• Knowledge ofDevOps practices andCI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity withJava is a plus.

• Familiarity with Cross-Platform Development is a plus

• Experience withAgile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience and Education:

• Typically requires a Bachelorsdegreein a technical discipline and a minimumof 2-5 years related experience orMasters degree and 0-2 years equivalent experience.
