Job Summary
MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT WORKER: COMMUNITY (Maternity Cover)
Location: Banbridge/Newry Area
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Fixed Term for 9 months (with possibility of extension)
Starting Salary: 22840.53
Closing date: 12 noon Thursday 27th November 2025

Support and empower people affected by mental health issues live their best lives underpinned by the recovery model.
What we ask for from you:
- Level 2 Essential Skills in Maths and English or GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English
- A minimum of 3 to 6 months recent experience providing support to people with a mental illness either in a paid or voluntary position.
- NISCC Registration or eligible to be registered from commencement of role
- The ability to demonstrate alignment with MindWises core values of Passion Respect Empathy Togetherness Openness & Transparency
