Your Impact:

Be our subject matter expert in gears
Design develop and optimize gear manufacturing processes (machining hobbing grinding heat treat)
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure quality and performance
Select tools materials and machines for gear production
Design fixtures and special tooling to support manufacturing
Lead and support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives to support gear manufacturing
Collaborate with engineering quality and operations teams to resolve challenges
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for gear-related issues
Stay current with industry trends gear standards (AGMA ISO) and emerging technologies

What Were Looking For:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Manufacturing or related engineering field
3 years experience in gear manufacturing or related fields
Experience with gear design preferred. Heat treat and metallurgy experience are pluses.
Solid understanding of gear types (spur helical bevel etc.) and gear cutting methods
Familiarity with CNC machines CAD/CAM and gear design software
Strong analytical problem-solving and technical communication skills
Lean manufacturing experience; Black Belt certification a plus
