Composite and metallic manufacturing process expertise

Root cause analysis and corrective action leadership

FAI MWI and drawing review proficiency

GD&T and dimensional control mastery

Cross-functional collaboration and communication

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Requirements:
-
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Aerospace Manufacturing Engineering or a related field
-
10 years of manufacturing quality engineering experience in the aerospace industry including significant assembly experience on spacecraft and/or aircraft
-
Subject Matter Expert (SME) level expertise in composite fabrication and metallic manufacturing processes
-
Proven experience with First Article Inspections (AS9102) drawing reviews and Manufacturing Work Instruction (MWI) development and approval
-
Strong working knowledge and practical application of GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
-
Extensive experience in Non-Conformance Report (NCR) dispositioning and Material Review Board (MRB) decision-making
-
Demonstrated leadership in Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) and Corrective Action Board (CAB) processes
-
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to balance hands-on shop floor engagement and detailed engineering analysis
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience in spacecraft manufacturing or launch vehicle integration
-
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
-
Hands-on experience with CMMs and advanced metrology systems
-
Active or recent security clearance
