With offices in Riga and Vilnius the team is rapidly growing and we are looking for a Junior Finance Specialist to join our team in Riga. Working here you will be part of a dynamic mix of people with different backgrounds skills experiences and passionate minds.
Job requirements
As the Junior Payment / Finance Specialist in this role you will:
Monitor payment queues of incoming and outgoing payments (SEPA CCT SEPA Instant SWIFT internal transfers) in line with internal procedures and cut-off times.
Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies returns and rejections in coordination with banks clients and internal departments.
Perform daily reconciliations between payment systems correspondent accounts and internal ledgers.
Assist with end-of-day settlement checks and ensure all transactions are properly booked and balanced.
Support implementation of new payment features or system changes by testing payment flows and documenting findings.
Maintain accurate operational records and contribute to periodic reporting (payment volumes error logs reconciliation outcomes).
Communicate professionally with clients and partner banks regarding payment statuses rejections and corrections.
What were looking for:
Ongoing or completed studies in finance economics accounting or a related field.
Analytical thinking and willingness to learn operational processes.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
Proficiency with MS Excel and other Office 365 tools.
Team-oriented mindset and ability to work in a structured environment.
Good communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
Basic understanding of banking and payment operations (SEPA SWIFT) will be considered as an advantage.

Gross salary starting from 1100 EUR per month based on qualifications and experience
