Were seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller to join our Finance team based in our Commercial Bay office in Auckland. Reporting to the CFO this pivotal role will take full ownership of the Groups financial control function across a multi-entity multi-country environment.
Youll be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting and analysis ensuring robust financial controls and risk management and maintaining financial and tax compliance for the Group. Youll also lead and develop the Group Finance team driving high-quality outcomes and a culture of continuous improvement.
This is a key leadership position supporting our journey to build a leading global Super Premium wine company.
What Youll Be DoingLead develop and motivate the Group Financial Control team.
Deliver accurate financial reporting analysis and insights ensuring sound financial control risk management and compliance across the Group.
Provide meaningful financial analysis advice and support to the CFO Senior Leadership Team and divisional managers.
Drive continuous improvement of financial processes and standard operating procedures.
What Youll BringAt least 5 years experience in a senior finance role ideally within a listed company.
CA qualification (or equivalent).
Proven experience leading financial close processes in a multi-entity multi-country environment ensuring accuracy timeliness and compliance with NZ IFRS.
Strong leadership experience with the ability to build and maintain a positive high-performing team culture.
