Service Line Sales Data & Analytics (Energy: Oil & Gas & Utilities)
Location: Houston or anywhere in Texas
Position Overview:
This strategic role is critical to the growth of our Data & Analytics (D&A) Service Line focusing on expanding key accounts in the Oil & Gas and Utilities sectors. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor for D&I services with a strong focus on sales growth deal shaping and P&L management. A deep understanding of industry-specific challenges and the ability to deliver tailored D&A solutions is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Sales & Growth:
o Partner with Oil & Gas Sales teams to expand accounts and position D&I services effectively.
o Lead the development and execution of sales strategies to grow the D&A footprint.
o Own and manage a book of business tracking revenue growth margins and customer satisfaction (CSAT).
Solutioning & Deal Shaping:
o Collaborate with D&A Presales and CoE teams to conceptualize industry-specific solutions and estimates.
o Lead and support sales pursuits shaping deals to improve win rates and client value.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
o Build and manage relationships with key client stakeholders (CDOs CMOs CIOs Business Heads).
o Evangelize D&A services internally across service lines and externally at industry events and conferences.
Strategic Enablement:
o Drive go-to-market (GTM) strategy for the Oil & Gas industry group.
o Promote cross-functional collaboration to align D&A offerings with client needs and market trends.
Key Criteria for the Role:
Experience & Expertise:
o Minimum 10 years in business and technology consulting with a strong focus on Data & Analytics.
o Proven track record in P&L ownership including order booking revenue targets and margin management.
o Strong background in pre-sales estimation and solutioning.
Technical & Industry Knowledge:
o Expertise across D&A domains: Data Engineering Data Sciences Business Analytics IoT and Advanced Visualization.
o Familiarity with platforms such as Databricks Snowflake AWS GCP Salesforce Tableau Microsoft Adobe etc.
Sales & Consulting Acumen:
o Experience working with consulting firms or digital-native organizations.
o Strong consultative sales approach with the ability to translate business challenges into D&A solutions.
o Excellent relationship-building skills with senior-level executives across business and technology functions
