Pompton Plains NJ and Flemington NJ
. Usually 10-11 hours per day. Prefer Dual Certified.
Needs to have graduated from an accredited NM school in order to obtain a NJ license.
- Perform routine and advanced PET/CT procedures (approximately 75% of role) on designated body parts for diagnostic and treatment purposes with minimal supervision.
- Screen patients prior to procedures for any precautions or contraindications.
- Explain and prepare patients for PET/CT procedures including proper positioning and providing support throughout the process.
- Adjust scan parameters and utilize dose-reduction techniques as appropriate to ensure patient safety and image quality.
- Remain self-motivated to increase knowledge and skills related to PET/CT technology diseases and evolving procedures.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned (approximately 5% of role).
- Ensure procedures adhere to established standards and protocols to provide high-quality patient care.
- Serve as a key team member contributing to the organizations goal of making radiology a critical first step in diagnosis and treatment.
