The Statistician Intern will support senior statisticians and research consultants in performing data analysis for academic corporate and technical research projects. This role involves assisting with data cleaning performing basic to intermediate statistical tests generating visualizations and documenting statistical procedures for theses dissertations and research publications.
This internship is ideal for students or fresh graduates who want hands-on experience with real research datasets international academic standards and statistical tools used in high-impact research.
Assist in cleaning organizing and preparing datasets for analysis.
Perform descriptive statistics (mean SD IQR frequency tables).
Conduct inferential statistics: t-tests chi-square ANOVA correlation regression etc.
Support the team in running multivariate analyses (EFA CFA SEM) under supervision.
Help create charts graphs and analytical visualizations.
Prepare summary reports of results with interpretations.
Run analyses using SPSS R Python or Excel (training will be provided if needed).
Maintain documentation of statistical steps for transparency and reproducibility.
Support research projects with data-driven insights.
Requirements
Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors/Masters in Statistics Data Science Mathematics Economics Engineering Psychology or related fields.
Basic understanding of statistical methods and hypothesis testing.
Familiarity with any statistical tool (SPSS / R / Python / Excel).
Good analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Eagerness to learn advanced statistical techniques.
Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
