Job Summary
As an Intern (Bachelors) Gov Relation here at Honeywell you will gain hands-on experience in government relations and public affairs. You will support our team in monitoring legislative and regulatory developments conducting research and assisting with advocacy efforts. This internship will provide you with valuable insights into the intersection of business and government and help you develop skills that are essential for a career in government relations.
In this role you will impact our ability to effectively engage with government stakeholders and influence public policy. Your contributions will help ensure that Honeywells interests are represented in legislative and regulatory processes and that we remain compliant with relevant laws and regulations. - Support the development and execution of government relations strategies
- Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments
- Conduct research on policy issues and prepare briefing materials
- Assist in building and maintaining relationships with government officials and stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Previous internship or work experience in government relations public affairs or a related field
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Political Science Public Policy or a related field
- Familiarity with legislative and regulatory processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
