Job Summary
The Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing nursing operations within an assigned unit including supervision of nursing staff ensuring adherence to clinical policies and standards and collaborating with leadership to optimize patient care delivery.
Essential Functions Additional InformationDemonstrates strong leadership organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage staff performance resolve issues and foster team development.
Knowledge Skills & AbilitiesThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skills and/or abilities required.
Education: Graduate of an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program; BSN preferred.
Experience: Minimum two years of rehab nursing or acute care experience and two years of supervisory experience preferred.
License: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
Certifications: BCLS required; ACLS preferred; CRRN preferred.
