Brief Job Overview

The Project Coordinator is a hands-on individual contributor role that contributes to the effective and efficient implementation of activities in the Global Biologics Department. The Project Coordinator will use facilitation experience and organization and collaboration skills to coordinate and manage operational aspects of physical and documentary standard development including shipment laboratory projects and information sharing with leadership across global sites. The incumbent will work independently to produce results and effectively collaborate with department and organization stakeholders.

The Project coordinator has the following responsibilities:

  • Initiate the development of contracts CDAs NDAs and supplier agreements and finalize by coordinating with the Legal team to the point of contract approval and subsequently extracting contract milestones to manage.
  • Execute and track workplans timelines deliverables and project transfers with a clear understanding of responsibilities across stakeholders and drive staff accountability.
  • Serve as single point of contact for shipping test materials between USP US and USP IND sites including coordination with scientists trade compliance and lab staff
  • Collaborates with project team members to help ensure they meet established project goals and milestones coordinates and facilitates project team meetings and communications.
  • Partner with Global Biologics Leadership to drive programs to meet established objectives and appropriately utilize resources
  • Collaborate with Trade compliance team/Purchase/Legal/Stores team for Import permit/test license custom clearance documents prepare CDA/MTA documents and raise Indents as required
  • Prepare Annual plan monthly lab report/Quarterly lab report/supporting PPT review and submit to HOD
  • Report on performance to plan and overall metrics as part of performance management
  • Coordinate with Service proivider/CLO/QA team for lab related activities (AMC CMC Qualification IQ/OQ/PQ etc)
  • Organize Team meeting/Townhall meeting with Bilogics staff/Team leads
  • Perform other task assigned by Senior Director Biologics

Who is USP Looking For

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of our mission commitment to excellence through inclusive and equitable behaviors and practices ability to quickly build credibility with stakeholders along with the following competencies and experience:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree
  • Minimum of three (3) years of Project management/relevant experience in a science-based field (Pharma/Biopharma industry)
  • Experience supporting a diverse team with remote members

  • Demonstrated ability to support implementation of multiple projects in a timely manner
