Job Summary
Senior Design Engineer Project Manager shall be responsible for end-to-end
coordination of engineering activities from the client office ensuring timely
delivery technical alignment and effective communication between the client
design teams EPC contractors and discipline leads for renewable and power
projects
Project Coordination & Management:
Act as single point of coordination for engineering activities at the client
office.
Coordinate between Client Engineering & Project team and Internal
Design teams across multiple disciplines.
Monitor engineering schedules and deliverables against project
milestones.
Track action items risks and dependencies and report status to
stakeholders.
Organize engineering coordination meetings.
Prepare meetings agendas MOMs and action trackers
Technical Compliance:
Perform high-level review of engineering deliverables for completeness
and consistency.
Identify design interface gaps misalignments and schedule risks.
Escalate technical issues to Chief Engineer / discipline leads.
Collaboration and Support:
Prepare and present Engineering Progress Reports Design Review Status
updates including Risk and issue registers.
Work closely with engineers project managers and other team
members to resolve design issues and implement solutions.
Provide technical information and ideas to support the engineering
team
Schedule & Deliverables Management:
Develop and Maintain Engineering deliverables tracking
Design review and approval schedules
Ensure timely circulation of drawings and documents.
Monitor turnaround times for reviews and approvals.
Requirements
Strong technical knowledge and client facing communication skills.
Excellent coordination and stakeholder management.
Structured planning and problem-solving approach.
Ability to manage multiple interfaces under tight timelines.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with engineering teams and
stakeholders
Job Location: Office-based in India (with flexibility across major metro cities/Project hubs)
Qualification: Masters or Bachelors in Engineering
Project Management Certification (PMP) Preferred
Experience (Minimum): Minimum 5 years of experience in Renewable and power projects
Software Knowledge: MS Project/Primavera MS Office
