Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experiencedGas Managerto lead the day-to-day operations of our responsive maintenance contract in Barnsley. You will be responsible for managing a team of schedulers and gas engineers ensuring compliance quality and performance across all aspects of the contract.
Key Accountabilities
- Oversee the daily running of the gas contract supported by an established team of schedulers and engineers.
- Ensure full compliance with the Wates Operating Framework and all relevant gas safety regulations.
- Manage quality control across internal teams and subcontractors delivering gas works.
- Provide technical support for ongoing gas-related tasks and projects.
- Monitor and drive team productivity to meet client KPIs for gas servicing and repairs
To Be Successful in This Role You Will Have
- A validDomestic Gas Qualification.
- Proven experience managing a gas contract.
- Strong understanding ofgas legislationand regulatory requirements.
- SMSTScertification (Site Management Safety Training Scheme - desirable qualification not a must)
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
