For seniors and adults with physical disabilities living independently at home can be a challenge when it comes to the tasks of daily living. Through our statewideIndependent Support Services (ISS) Program also known as theHomemaker Services Program Catholic Charities connects isolated seniors and physically disabled adults with a professionally-supervised team of dedicated paraprofessionals who help with a variety of tasks to help them remain independent in their home.
The ISS program is currently seekingIndependent Support Workers. Duties may include:
- Housekeeping tasks such as: washing dishes changing bedding laundry vacuuming moping dusting cleaning kitchen and bathrooms.
- Meal planning/prep tasks including grocery shopping and carrying groceries into clients home.
- Running Errands
- Occasional transportation
Positions available are: On-Call (14-18 hours/week) Part-Time (20-29 hours/week)orFull-Time (30-40 hours/week) depending on the area served.
Pay: $17.69 per hour

Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or GED own reliable transportation a clean driving record and a valid drivers license. Must have an active email address and the ability to report time worked online. Must be able to lift carry push or pull up to 20 lbs.
