What youll do:
Reporting to the Chief Impact Officer the Director of Employment Services is responsible for not limited to the following duties:
Strategic Leadership & Growth
- Lead strategic planning efforts to expand and enhance Employment Services with a focus on innovation program efficiency effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
- Identify emerging trends best practices and opportunities in supported employment to ensure PROVAIL remains a leader in the field.
- Develop long-term strategies to increase access to inclusive employment for people with disabilities across Western Washington.
Program & Fiscal Management
- Prepare manage and monitor program budgets including staffing projections caseload planning and resource allocation for a growing team.
- Ensure financial sustainability through effective use of funding streams compliance with payer requirements and proactive pursuit of new opportunities.
- Partner with the Chief People Officer to design and implement compensation strategies that are competitive financially sustainable and align with PROVAILs wage equity principles.
- Establish and monitor program performance metrics using data-driven insights to guide decision-making and continuous improvement.
Staff Development & Supervision
- Provide leadership and mentorship to managers and staff fostering a culture of accountability collaboration and professional growth.
- Oversee the design and implementation of onboarding training and ongoing professional development programs to ensure staff and managers are equipped to deliver high-quality services.
- Promote staff retention and engagement by ensuring equitable workloads supportive supervision and recognition of excellence.
Community & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with job seekers their families employers funders and community partners.
- Represent PROVAIL in professional networks coalitions (such as the Community Employment Alliance) and public forums to advance disability employment.
- Partner with employers to expand inclusive hiring practices workforce development opportunities and long-term career pathways for participants.
Contracts Compliance & Accreditation
- Negotiate administer and monitor contracts and ensure adherence to all program accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Implement quality assurance systems to maintain compliance mitigate risk and continuously improve service delivery.
- Report on outcomes and impact to internal and external stakeholders.
Equity Inclusion & Organizational Leadership
- Contribute to PROVAILs DEI strategy by embedding equity principles into program design staff development and community partnerships.
- Serve as a member of the executive leadership team collaborating across departments to align Employment Services with organizational priorities.
- Lead participatory processes that translate strategy into measurable objectives ensuring voices of staff and program participants are centered in decision-making.
Additional Leadership Duties
- Perform other responsibilities as needed to advance PROVAILs mission and organizational success.
What youll bring:
- 57 years of progressively responsible experience in supported employment vocational rehabilitation workforce development or disability services.
- At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience (managing teams budgets and programs).
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning program development and contract/grant management.
- Experience building partnerships with employers funders and community agencies.
- Preference for applicants who have lived experience improving employment outcomes for people with disabilities or other marginalized communities.
