Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: New York NY 10019
Contract: 9 Weeks
Schedule: MondayFriday 9:00 AM5:00 PM (40 hrs/week)
Shift: Day
Travel Pay: $2536$2710 weekly
Local Pay: $2000$2212 weekly

Job Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support both inpatient rehab and acute care units. The OT will provide evaluations develop treatment plans and help patients improve functional independence.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients in rehab and acute care settings

  • Create individualized treatment plans and goals

  • Lead therapeutic activities and ADL-focused interventions

  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes

  • Educate patients families and caregivers

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams

  • Recommend adaptive equipment and modifications

Requirements:

  • Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy

  • 23 years of experience in acute care or inpatient rehab

  • Active NY OT License

  • BLS required; NBCOT preferred

  • Strong assessment documentation and communication skills

  • Ability to float between units
