Job Summary
Duties:
- Maintains acceptable visit productivity standards.
- Completes documentation within Established time frames and transfers back within 24 Hours.
- Documents skilled interventions to justify each patient visit per regulatory guidelines.
- Interfaces with other professionals students and families.
- Utilizes aides appropriately in delivering care.
- Acts as a preceptor to new staff.
- Shows evidence of interdisciplinary communication.
- Maintains a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Demonstrates knowledge of safety standards.
- Practices appropriate infection control measures.
- Educates patients and families.
- Uses age appropriate and culturally sensitive teaching tools and methods.
- Evaluates effectiveness of teaching and revises plan as needed.
- Provides orientation to new employees.
Skills:
- Valid NJ OT License
Education:
- nGraduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Schedule Notes:
- Monday - Friday
- 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm
- Inpatient Care Candidates with high-acuity experience are highly preferred particularly in ICU Step-Down or Cardiac units.
