As a Technical Support Specialist you will provide professional hardware and software support and training to our customers via telephone email and remote software. This is a customer-facing role requiring technical aptitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Tasks
- Handle and resolve technical inquiries from service and sales teams as well as end customers for technically sophisticated products
- Provide remote customer training for evident instruments and application software to end customer
- Collaborate with product units including application specialists and software/hardware development teams
- Support the repair center with complex technical issues
- Participate in regular internal and external training and development programs
- Document and report customer-reported errors - ETQ (Excellence Through Quality) with problem-resolution tools
Requirements
- Completed scientific studies or equivalent technical education/training
- Strong analytical skills and quick comprehension
- Prior experience in the field of microscopy is highly desirable
- Excellent English and German communication skills (spoken and written)
- Confident and authentic customer-facing demeanor
- Experience in telephone-based technical support
- Structured independent and results-oriented working style
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset
- Proficiency in common office software (e.g. Microsoft Office)
