About the Project

Supporting SEQWater Ventia deliver preventative corrective and reactive maintenance along with electrical mechanical and instrumental services across its water network. Servicing across 35 water treatment plants 95 pump stations and 26 referable dams.

About the Role

The Electrical & Instrumentation technician purpose is to deliver workorders across assets including fault finding condition assessment and renewal of instrumentation equipment.

We are currently seeking a team member to support our works within the Central Region

Key Responsibilities

Perform and deliver allocated E&I workorders from maintenance plan

Deliver Electrical & Instrumentation tasks including fluid flow pressure measurements and water quality monitoring equipment

Perform administrative tasks and document work progression in the computerised maintenance management system. (CMMS)

Travel and commute to relevant assets across the network including attendance of Pre-start meetings

Ensure adherence to safety compliance policy and procedures

Reporting activities relating to works planned completed risks and issues with a focus on ongoing improvement of processes to support delivery.

**Candidates must be willing to undergo a medical and police check as part of the recruitment process**

About You

Experience in either Infrastructure Water Oil & Gas industries

Experience as an E&I technician in calibration pressure testing and flow metres

Hold a certificate IV or III in Instrumentation

Current C Class Driver Licence

Trade Electrical certificate

QLD Electrical licence

EEHA - Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas Electrical (5-year validity)

Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - HLTAID001 (1 year validity)

Low Voltage Rescue and CPR Training UETDRRF004 & HLTAID009 (1 year validity)

Provide First Aid - HLTAID003 (3-year validity)

Confined Space Entry - RIIWHS202E MSMPER205MSMPER200 (3-year validity)

Working at Heights - RIIWHS204E (2-year validity)

Gas test Atmosphere- MSMWHS217 (3-year validity)
