Systems Specialist
Reports to: Systems Administrator

Job Description:
The Systems Specialist supports the IT team by managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure
user access endpoint devices and system integrations. This role will assist with automation
troubleshooting and documentation to ensure efficient and secure operations across the
companys technology ecosystem. The ideal candidate is hands-on detail-oriented and eager to
contribute to scalable secure and reliable system management.
Objectives and Contributions:
Identity & Access
-Support user provisioning license management and access reviews in Entra ID.
-Maintain SSO configurations and permission mappings for SaaS platforms (Salesforce
Slack ADP etc.).
-Assist with periodic security and compliance audits.
Automation & Scripting
-Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using PowerShell Python and/or
JavaScript.
-Deploy and manage automation workflows (Azure Automation Power Automate etc.).
-Document automation processes scripts and runbooks for reuse and consistency.
Infrastructure & Virtualization
-Support cloud infrastructure primarily in Azure (experience with AWS or GCP a plus).
-Monitor system performance assist with patching backups and incident troubleshooting.
-Contribute to implementing secure scalable infrastructure solutions.
Applications & Integrations
-Maintain connectors and integrations between core business systems (Salesforce Sage
Intacct ADP Workforce Now Slack etc.).
-Configure and develop new integrations as needed to improve system efficiency.
-Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues to minimize downtime.
Device Management & End-user Support
-Manage and support Windows and Apple endpoints with a focus on Intune MDM.
-Configure compliance and device configuration policies.
-Maintain device inventory coordinate with vendors and assist with deployments at project
sites.
General
-Provide responsive and professional support to end users.
-Maintain clear documentation for configurations scripts and troubleshooting procedures.
-Collaborate with IT team members to identify and implement process improvements.
Deliverables
-Reliable and secure systems infrastructure and integrations.
-Accurate documentation and up-to-date automation tools.
-Efficient provisioning device management and user access control.
-Timely and professional IT support for internal users.
Qualifications:
-4 years of experience in IT operations or systems administration.
-Hands-on experience with Azure cloud infrastructure; AWS or GCP familiarity a plus.
-Strong scripting skills in PowerShell Python and/or JavaScript.
-Experience managing identity platforms (Azure AD/Entra) SSO SAML LDAP and user
provisioning.
-Proficiency managing Windows and Apple devices; Intune or MDM experience preferred.
-Strong documentation and communication skills; able to translate technical concepts for
non-technical colleagues.
-Comfortable working in a small collaborative team environment.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
-Work is primarily light in nature with frequent sitting at a computer for extended periods (7
8 hours per day).
-Must be able to move about the office access files and communicate effectively in person
and via phone or video.
-Manual dexterity to operate office equipment (computer copier phone etc.).
-Visual acuity to read and interpret documents and digital information.
-Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
