Make a difference as Process Supervisor PHCR

In this role you will:

• Plan and execute post-harvest (lab) research projects including shelf-life and sensory tests.

• Lead and coach a small team of 1 lab technician and seasonal workers.

• Perform hands-on lab work following strict protocols and safety standards.

• Organize and oversee taste panels for crops like tomatoes and peppers.

• Manage and interpret data ensuring accurate recording and reporting.

• Contribute to process optimization and implementation of new methods.

Youll be based in Enkhuizen but part of a global team and therefore also interacting with Post Harvest colleagues in Spain and the US.

What you bring as a future colleague

• A practical hands-on mindset with strong organizational skills.

• Experience in a lab environment (35 years preferred) ideally in post-harvest or sensory research.

• Ability to plan prioritize and manage multiple projects.

• Strong communication and people skills to lead and motivate your team.

• Accuracy and attention to detail in both lab work and data handling.

• Affinity with data analysis and basic statistical principles.

• Proficiency in English (and Dutch is a plus).
