Commercial Lines Producer
Job Summary
Seeking a motivated professional and passionate Commercial Lines Producer to join a dynamic team. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities building lasting client relationships and delivering customized insurance solutions to help businesses protect their assets. The ideal candidate is a results-driven sales professional with a strong understanding of commercial insurance products excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional client service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients businesses and prospects to grow a profitable book of commercial lines insurance business.
- Leverage sales techniques to identify client needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
- Proactively prospect and generate leads through networking referrals and outreach efforts.
- Collaborate with underwriters service teams and support staff to ensure all insurance solutions meet client-specific needs and requirements.
- Stay informed about industry trends regulations and emerging risks to provide relevant solutions to clients.
- Prepare and deliver proposals and presentations effectively communicating the value of insurance products while offering customized coverage options.
- Meet or exceed sales and customer retention goals ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Advocate for clients during claims processes addressing concerns and ensuring timely resolution.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all sales activities client interactions and transactions.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Valid state-issued Insurance Producer License for Property & Casualty (required).
- Proven experience in sales or account management within the commercial insurance industry.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial lines insurance products policies and applications.
- Exceptional interpersonal negotiation and communication skills with a client-first approach.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Goal-driven mindset with effective time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in insurance management software CRM systems and basic office applications.
