Custodian (Part-time, Evening hours)

Founded in 2011 Meridian School is a public tuition-free charter school open to all students living in Williamson County. • Perform general cleaning and janitorial duties on campus (mopping sweeping vacuuming cleaning windows trash/compost/recycling pickup).
• Complete general maintenance and repairs as needed including replacing light bulbs.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of tables chairs and other furniture during special events.
• Assist in cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and cafeteria areas.
• Inspect grounds for potential safety hazards and report findings to supervisor.
• Maintain building safety standards while working on the grounds including keeping exterior doors closed and locked unless actively supervised.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to maintain positive cooperative working relationships with students staff and vendors.
• Comfort and ability to work above ground on ladders and lifts.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral work orders from a supervisor.

This position operates in a professional non-smoking school environment that can be busy and subject to moderate noise and unscheduled interruptions. The role requires the ability to lift bend stoop climb reach and lift up to 50 pounds.
