Title: Facilities Team Member-Reddy Student UnionReports to: Director of Facilities Grounds and TransportationSchedule: Monday Friday 2:30 PM 6:30 PM (20 hours per week)The Miami Valley School (MVS). Here we learn because we Role. The Facilities Team Member will be reliable and detail-oriented focused on maintaining a clean safe and welcoming environment in our Student Union and Dining Hall. This position is critical for ensuring that high-traffic student areas and administrative spaces are sanitized and ready for daily Opportunity. As a member of the facilities team you will have an impact on the greater MVS Responsibilities:Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the dining hall with a primary focus on cleaning and sanitizing immediately following the last lunch period each Hall & First Floor Maintenance:Sweep and mop hard flooring surfaces and sanitize tables chairs and common seating all trash and recycling bins replacing liners as and restock restrooms ensuring all dispensers are Floor Facilities:Dust-mop and wet-mop hard floors; vacuum all carpeted and sanitize offices classrooms and conference common areas and hallways to ensure they are free of restrooms and high-touch surfaces (door handles light switches).Other Duties: Complete other duties as assigned by the Director of Facilities and Grounds to ensure the effective operation of the facility and Requirements and Work Environment:Frequently lift equipment and materials weighing 50 pounds or climb ladders twist turn and reach in completing a variety of job outside in hot or cold conditions for extended periods of in a wide variety of environments as found in all areas of the :At least 1 year of facilities and/or custodial experience in a school setting (preferred)High school diploma or equivalentMust be able to pass a BCI & FBI background checkBenefits.
