As a Solutions Architect youll play a pivotal role guiding the design and implementation of our critical infrastructure and digital platforms.
Youll join a team committed to staying ahead of the curve leveraging cutting-edge technologies and MACH principles (microservices API-first cloud-native headless) to revolutionise our digital landscape.
How youll make an impact
- Architect and deliver scalable secure and efficient enterprise platforms including container solutions identity services observability tools cloud infrastructure and microservices deployment environments.
- Lead the integration of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions using event streams APIs and microservices ensuring optimal performance and seamless connectivity.
- Advocate and embed MACH architecture principles across digital projects promoting innovation agility and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams translating business needs into robust technical solutions that drive tangible business outcomes.
- Provide technical leadership mentoring development teams on best practices in architecture coding standards and deployment strategies.
- Evaluate emerging technologies recommending innovative solutions aligned with Air New Zealands strategic digital goals.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive architectural documentation standards and guidelines.
What were looking for
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect ideally within large complex enterprise environments.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS Azure) and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of identity management solutions (Azure AD Okta) and modern observability platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate and optimise COTS applications through APIs event-driven architectures and other integration methodologies.
- Solid experience applying MACH principles in real-world scenarios with a track record of delivering cloud-native microservices-based solutions.
- Exceptional analytical problem-solving and communication skills capable of conveying technical concepts clearly to stakeholders across all levels.
