Job Summary:
To support the effective implementation and coordination of the organizations SMS across operational departments ensuring compliance continuous improvement and promotion of a proactive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and organizing activities to support the SMS across departments including Flight Operations Inflight Ground Operations and Technical.
- Coordinate with operating departments to ensure alignment and participation in SMS initiatives.
- Support the planning and execution of Safety Action Groups (SAGs) including agenda preparation and presentation development.
- Assist in organizing Safety Review Board (SRB) meetings including content planning and interdepartmental coordination.
- Facilitate the coordination of the Risk Management process across key operational areas.
- Support identification assessment and mitigation of safety risks in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
- Coordinate the Safety Data Collection and Processing System to ensure timely delivery of corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor and track safety performance outcomes using SMS software tools.
- Assist in the development planning and execution of safety promotion initiatives such as Seminars and workshops / Safety surveys and Bulletins / Magazines Newsletters and safety alerts/posters.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelors degree or related field (preferred)
Required Skills & Experience:
- 02 - 05 years aviation industry experience
- Knowledge of ICAO SMS framework and aviation safety principles
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Proficiency in safety data systems and reporting tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good to have:
- Knowledge of ICAO SMS framework and aviation safety principles
- Knowledge of SMS tools and execution of SAGs
