Sales Strategy & Execution
- Assist the Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing in defining and implementing the cluster sales strategy aligned with corporate goals brand standards and local market dynamics.
- Provide input into and help manage the annual sales & marketing plan including segment breakdowns target setting and resource allocation.
- Drive proactive solicitation activities: sales calls site inspections trade shows fam trips client engagement.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in assigned markets (domestic regional and international) and segments (leisure corporate groups weddings MICE).
- Maintain and grow existing key account relationships (tour operators wholesalers corporate clients luxury travel advisors) to secure repeat business and maximize yield.
- Collaborate with Revenue Management Reservations and Marketing to ensure pricing packaging occupancy and ADR are optimized.
Team Leadership & Development
- Support the recruitment training coaching and performance management of the sales team across both resorts.
- Establish and monitor individual and team sales targets; review performance regularly and drive corrective action when needed.
- Promote a highperforming sales culture through leading by example sharing best practice maintaining strong product knowledge and brand / service standards.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting on sales activities forecasts pipelines market trends and competitor insights to senior management.
Operational & Financial Management
- Assist in setting and monitoring the departmental budget forecasting and revenue projections.
- Ensure all sales contractual obligations proposals group bookings and space releases are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Work closely with other departments (Operations F&B Weddings/Events Marketing) to deliver a seamless guest experience and convert bookings into outstanding stays.
- Monitor market intelligence (demand competition emerging segments travel trends) and incorporate into sales tactics and action planning.
Brand & Guest Relationship
- Represent the cluster at industry events trade shows sales missions and client site visits to boost brand visibility and capture new business.
- Uphold the brand values and service standards of both AVANI and Anantara resorts ensuring guest satisfaction aligns with the sales promise.
- Engage in client entertainment site inspections and familiarization trips to deepen relationships and enhance the guest/sales journey.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Business Administration Marketing or related field (or equivalent).
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in hotel/resort sales in an international environment preferably in luxury or upscale brands; cluster or multi-property experience is a strong advantage.
- Proven track-record of achieving sales targets developing key accounts and leading a sales team.
- Excellent understanding of hotel sales dynamics group packages/weddings and agency/distribution channels.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong commercial acumen analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data forecast and adjust strategy accordingly.
- Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills; confident presenting to senior clients and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to lead motivate and develop a sales team; high energy results-driven proactive and self-motivated.
