Our client is seeking a passionate and well-organised Art Technician to support a thriving Art Department within a highly prestigious Secondary school based in Oxford. This is a full-time position starting in January 2026 working closely with teachers and students to help deliver engaging and inspiring art lessons.
The successful candidate will assist with the preparation and organisation of art materials maintain studio equipment support practical sessions and ensure a safe creative and stimulating environment for students to explore and develop their artistic skills.
Experience and Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Art Technician or within an art studio/school environment desirable
- A strong interest in art design and creative media
- Well-organised methodical and attentive to detail
- Familiarity with art materials tools and techniques (e.g. painting printmaking ceramics photography)
- Awareness of health and safety procedures and COSHH regulations
- Legal right to work within the UK
