Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present a warm and long-term opportunity for a part-time live-out Housekeeper / Cook to support a professional family based in South Oxfordshire. The family resides in a compact two-bedroom private home within a residential estate offering a calm and friendly working environment. This is the familys first time employing a dedicated housekeeper and they are keen to build a consistent trusting and long-term relationship with the right professional.
This role would suit a mature organised and proactive housekeeper who genuinely enjoys supporting a household beyond standard cleaning duties. The position focuses heavily on organisation tidying laundry management cooking and general household flow helping the family maintain structure and order in a busy home with two young children.
The family follows a vegetarian lifestyle and simple nutritious home-cooked meals are an important part of the role.

Working Days: Monday to Thursday (4 days/week)
Working Hours: 3 hours per day; 12 hours/week
Cooking: Homemade vegetarian meals
Children: 9 y.o. and 6 y.o.
Pets: No
Driving: A driving licence and access to a vehicle would be highly beneficial for ease of commute.

Duties and Responsibilities
- General housekeeping duties maintaining a clean tidy and well-organised home
- Daily and weekly tidying decluttering and organisation of living spaces
- Laundry management ironing folding and wardrobe organisation
- Regular changing of bed linen and household textiles
- Semi-regular decluttering paperwork sorting and household organisation
- Cooking duties preparing vegetarian family-style meals
- Clear labelling and communication around ingredients and meal preparation
- Supporting the overall smooth running of the household
- Being comfortable working around children (no sole charge required)
Minimal Requirements
- Three or more years of private household housekeeping experience
- Two excellent checkable references
- Conversational English
- Legal right to work in the UK
