Our Client is looking for a Geography ECT to work within a high-performing secondary school in Hertford. This is a full-time role teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4 with strong potential for development into wider responsibilities as experience grows. The successful candidate will be supported by an experienced subject mentor and a friendly departmental team who value fresh ideas and enthusiasm.
School Information
This 11 to 18 mixed school educates approximately 1300 students and continues to deliver excellent academic results with 93 percent of pupils achieving grades 9 to 4 in English and Maths. The school promotes a strong culture of respect ambition and inclusivity with good behaviour and positive relationships evident across the site.
The Geography department emphasises global awareness sustainability fieldwork and geographical skills supported by thoughtfully planned schemes of work and up-to-date resources. Students are encouraged to explore both physical and human geography through case studies enquiry-based learning and real-world applications.
