Project Manager (PMP MS Project Scheduling)
Position Details:

- Location: Charleston WV (Onsite Remote work not allowed)
- Work Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch) aligned with Central or Pacific Time
- Candidate Residency: Must reside in Charleston WV at the time of submission
- Interview Type: Virtual only (no face-to-face required)
- Work Authorization: Candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Project Overview:
This position supports the HI HAP/EDW DDI Project which is at a critical delivery phase. The Senior Project Manager II (Master Scheduler) will manage the integrated project schedule across multiple workstreams and ensure compliance with Federal standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a detailed project schedule for 10 workstreams in coordination with State resources.
- Set up and maintain predecessor/successor tasks and project milestones.
- Ensure the project schedule meets all Federal compliance standards and submit weekly updates.
- Perform resource leveling and calculate project performance metrics (CPI SPI BEI).
- Oversee project contract deliverables track artifacts and submit them to the State repository.
- Support overall project management including risk and issue management to ensure on-time delivery.
- Lead and/or attend approximately 25 recurring meetings per week plus ad-hoc sessions as required.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience using Microsoft Project (managing multiple project schedules).
- 5 years of IT Project Management experience.
- 3 years of hands-on experience with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- 2 years working on enterprise data warehouse (EDW) solutions.
- 2 years experience collaborating with State Government agencies.
- Certifications Required:
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- PMI Project Scheduler Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience facilitating Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions.
- Knowledge of Healthcare Information Exchange (HIE) EDI or general Healthcare IT projects.
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint Access).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Visio.
