A vibrant Michigan engineering firm is seeking a Project Architect for their Midland area office!
Responsibilities:
- Consult with client to determine requirements for new structures or renovation
- Coordinate/attend meetings with clients consultants planning officials building officials and/or health/safety/law officials
- Prepare contract documents
- Conduct periodic on-site observation to monitor compliance with plans
- Produce high quality work
- Ensure all work is reviewed by a registered architect
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Collaborate with team members at all levels of design phases
- Attend client meetings possibly face-to-face
- Travel to clients and construction sites
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Architecture
- 5 years of experience in related experience in commercial medical and/or institutional projects
- Architecture License preferred
- Knowledge of contract administration/office procedures
- Knowledge of basic building systems (architectural mechanical plumbing electrical structural)
- Experience generating construction documents in AutoCAD/Revit
- Experience with 3D modeling presentation and design software (Photoshop Bluebeam Enscape 3D Studio Sketch Up)
- Mathematical skills
Salary is commensurate with experience.
